Longtime Ridgecrest resident Richmond Hawley Nickles, 84, died March 22, 2020, in Hesperia, Calif. He was born June 14, 1935, in Trenton, Tenn. He served in the United States Navy until his military retirement. He later retired from China Lake where he was employed as a technician.
