Mr. Phillip Magnus Nelson, age 93, passed away on Nov. 9, 2018, at the Sterling Commons Memory and Dementia Care facility in Victorville, CA. Phillip was born on Nov. 23, 1924, in Ramah, CO and moved to Bakersfield, CA in the 1940s. He married Dorothy Jean Hill in 1947 after serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for Davies Machinery in Bakersfield, CA as a mechanic servicing equipment during the construction of the Lake Isabella Dam. [...]
