Walter Smith, 82, passed away May 22, 2017.Walter was born in Boise, Idaho, where he met Rene, his wife of 60 years. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in engineering. Walter has lived in Ridgecrest and China Lake (off and on) for 45 years.
