Mrs. Chieko Epstein, of Ridgecrest, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of 84. Chieko was born to parents Sadao and Fukei Sensui on March 5, 1932 in Tokyo, Japan. She grew up in Tokyo with her older brother Terukissa. Both Chieko and Terukissa were raised by their paternal grandparents after their parents passed away. In 1950, Chieko married Bernard A. Epstein and moved to the United States. Together they had six children. Bernard died in 1989. [...]
