Walter made his last move at the age of 83, joining his wife of 50 years in their final home. Walter moved to Ridgecrest in December of 2003, following the death of his wife. Before his retirement in the late ‘90s Walter was employed by Ford Aerospace and Communications Corporation in Sunnyvale, Calif.
