Fred Barrett passed away November 14, 2015, in Ridgecrest Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. Fred was born to Charles and Barbra Barrett on November 26, 1924, in Beaumont, California. Fred grew up in Beaumont. He served in the Navy during World War II. He came to Trona in 1946 and worked as a heavy equipment, printing press, and switch engine operator until he retired in 1992.
